A tailor made solution for each application
FAGOR ARRASATE´s laser blanking system combines a fiber laser cutting machine with an automatic metal coil feeding system, resulting in a cost-effective and efficient cutting solution.
The laser blanking line provides finished laser cut parts directly from a coil, offering many advantages compared to conventional laser cutting from the sheet, such as:
- Better material efficiency and savings on raw material thanks to the continuous nesting that eliminates that part-to-edge unused space typical of laser cutting from the sheet.
- Increased throughput: In a coil fed laser cutting line the metal is available continuously, so many more parts can be produced until a new coil is needed, achieving a higher throughput and almost 100% machine usage.
- Lower material costs: Every sheet comes from a coil. So, you can benefit of a significantly reduced procurement price for coils as opposed to sheet goods.
Laser blanking technology also reduces power consumption compared to alternatives such as press lines.
